OUR PARTNERS & SUPPORTERS
ABOUT US
Kijana Ajibika is a ministry of the Anglican Diocese of Mount Kenya that empowers young people through running, life skills, and holistic development. Each club meets regularly for training, mentorship, and community building.
Through structured clubs, trained coaches, and peer mentors, we help young people discover their potential — physically, mentally, spiritually, and academically.
Physical fitness, mental health, spiritual growth, and academic support — all in one programme.
Youth from across the diocese connect, compete, and grow together as a unified community.
25 numbered lessons delivered through 28 guided sessions covering values, health, leadership, and personal responsibility.
WHAT WE DO
Our programme goes far beyond the track. Here's how we make a difference.
Weekly training sessions build physical strength, discipline, and teamwork. Coaches guide youth through structured programmes.
Peer coaches and trained mentors provide consistent support, helping youth navigate challenges and develop character.
Our 28 guided curriculum sessions cover spiritual growth, health, safety, relationships, and decision-making.
Each club is rooted in its local parish, connecting youth with the wider church community and a supportive network.
We track each child's physical and emotional wellbeing, ensuring no young person falls through the cracks.
Competitions, events, and milestones give youth goals to strive for — building confidence and accomplishment.
OUR CURRICULUM
Every club follows 25 numbered lessons delivered through 28 guided sessions, including the welcome session and separate boys' and girls' sessions for Lessons 13 and 14.
"Running is more than exercise. It teaches discipline, builds confidence, and brings young people together. When we run together, we rise together."
Every young person deserves the chance to run, to learn, and to rise.
